McLaughlins first opened its doors in Southgate, Michigan, in 1948, founded by the visionary Patrick McLaughlin. With a passion for well-built furniture and a commitment to honest service, Patrick began transforming houses into homes, one piece at a time. His dedication to craftsmanship and community quickly set McLaughlins apart.
Under the stewardship of the second generation, Michael McLaughlin, we embarked on an exciting expansion in 1975, proudly opening our Novi location. This marked a significant milestone, allowing McLaughlins to extend its reach and bring its trusted selection of quality home furnishings to a broader Michigan audience, while maintaining the intimate, family-run feel.
The new millennium brought further growth with the addition of our Utica store in 2002. Today, led by the third generation of the McLaughlin family, we seamlessly blend our rich heritage with contemporary trends, offering diverse styles that cater to modern living.
